Aval Vikatan Samayal Super Star - Season 3

2 Months | 12 Activations | 1 Grand Finale

Aval Vikatan’s Samayal Super Star Season 3 celebrated home chefs across Tamil Nadu, with 12 large-scale activations conducted across the state and brought regional talent and flavours to the forefront.

This marks the third consecutive season where Aval Vikatan partnered with The 8 to bring the property to life.

From on-ground activations to the grand finale, The 8 led the end-to-end execution, ensuring a seamless, high-energy experience across every touchpoint.

RKG Retailers Meet 2025

Sathyamangalam | Gopichettipalayam

The 8 executed a successful retailer meet for RKG Ghee in Sathyamangalam and Gopichettipalayam to further strengthen the brand’s partnerships with its valued retailers.

The event featured discussions on RKG’s history and its existing and upcoming products, followed by an inspiring speech from a motivational speaker.

RAS Chekku Oil - Dealers Meet

For the RAS Dealers Meet in Coimbatore, The 8 provided a comprehensive end to end solution that spanned from initial conceptualization to on ground delivery. The event served as a critical touchpoint for key dealers to align with the brand’s long term vision and explore new product horizons.

Beyond the event management, we strategically introduced the Quantitative Purchase Scheme (QPS), a custom designed incentive program. This data driven scheme was highly successful in motivating dealer performance and strengthening the distribution network, proving that a great event is even better when backed by a solid growth plan.

RKG x SunRisers Hyderabad – Meet & Greet Ceremony

As part of RKG’s partnership with SunRisers Hyderabad as their official ghee partner, we executed an exclusive Meet & Greet ceremony featuring SRH players Jaydev Unadkat, Mohammed Shami, and Abhishek Sharma.

From concept to coordination, The 8 handled the event end-to-end, including the central theme: Mindful Meals. Minimal Waste.

With over 200 attendees, engaging interactions, and a stand-up comedy performance, the event struck the perfect balance of brand purpose and entertainment—making it a standout activation for the season.

This year’s competition spanned 13 activations across multiple cities, leading up to an intense grand finale where the top contestants compete for the prestigious title.

The 8 has once again managed the end-to-end execution of the activations and the Grand Finale, ensuring a seamless and spectacular event.

Sampling Activity - RAS Chekku Oil

Chennai | Bengaluru | Coimbatore | Trichy | Thanjavur

We orchestrated a multi-city sampling activity for RAS Chekku Oil across supermarkets and hypermarkets in 5 cities, Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Trichy, and Thanjavur.

Our team prepared delicious dishes using RAS Chekku Oils, set up interactive sampling stalls, and offered the food to over 8000 customers, creating a flavourful brand experience at every location.

Shibaura Machine India Factory Inauguration - Media Engagement

We led the end-to-end media engagement strategy executing a targeted press meet that secured widespread visibility across top-tier print, digital, and broadcast platforms for Shibaura Machine India. The Indian arm of the Japan-based manufacturing leader, expanded its Chennai facility with a ₹225 Cr investment, which culminated in an inauguration on July 2024.

From positioning the narrative to managing press interactions, our approach ensured maximum coverage, strong brand recall, and meaningful industry attention for the milestone event.

We devised an efficient media engagement strategy for the inauguration and organised a press meet to maximise media coverage across leading print, digital, and broadcast platforms.

3 Months I 25 Districts I 1 Finale​

We seamlessly executed 25 activations across Tamil Nadu, handling everything from BTL activities (to source participants) to the on-ground event execution.

Reached over 1,00,000 people via BTL and digital strategies, and garnered 3000+ participants across locations. The finale was a grand cook-off between the winners of the 25 districts.

The event culmination was a 13-kitchen station cooking show in a studio that was aired on Pudhuyugam TV.

Reached over 1,00,000 people via BTL and digital strategies, and garnered 3000+ participants across locations. The finale was a grand cook-off between the winners of the 25 districts.

The event culmination was a 13-kitchen station cooking show in a studio that was aired on Pudhuyugam TV.

RKG Gulab Jamun and Rasogolla Launch

RKG ventured into a new product category, sweets, with the launch of RKG Gulab Jamun and RKG Rasogolla. We developed a well-rounded strategy to take the products to the market successfully. We

RKG 90th Year Celebrations

RKG marked its 90th-year milestone with a special event for its distributors and stakeholders, which spanned three days. We conceptualized and executed the event end-to-end, securing artists, generating media coverage, and managing all aspects of footfall.

We ensured the smooth functioning of the event. We also managed the accommodation and participation of over 4,500 distributors, sales representatives, and stakeholders attending from all over South India.

The Hindu World of Women 2023

The 8 orchestrated The Hindu World of Women 2023 end-to-end, making it a sparkling success.

World of Women is a prestigious annual event that honours exceptional women who have made significant contributions to society.
The event recognizes and celebrates women from diverse fields, including social service, entertainment, literature, arts and culture, sports, business leadership, health, and entrepreneurship.

These remarkable women are felicitated at a star-studded gala in the presence of esteemed dignitaries.

RKG Gulab Jamun and Rasogolla Launch

We curated and Executed the prestigious Car-free Sundays for The Hindu for 7 weeks. We devised athletic activities for visitors of all ages and got celebrities on board to lend their star power to support this civic cause and promote the importance of health and vehicle-free roads in Besant Nagar.

This initiative transformed urban spaces into vibrant community hubs through a series of bespoke athletic activities designed for all age groups. We had reached about 10,000 participants across locations, and the finale was a grand cook-off between the top 3 of the 20 districts. The culmination of the event was a never done before 20 kitchen station cooking show in a studio which is to be aired on Kalaignar TV.

We drove awareness of Amazon’s feel-good film Oh My Dog by executing a pet adoption drive paired with family-friendly activities in malls across 4 cities.

Associating with The Hindu, we partnered with local shelters across the cities to bring 50 pups open for adoption to the mall activations at each venue.

The engaging pet play area and kid’s activities brought the movie’s heartwarming spirit to life in person.
